This vase started with an embossing plate I made of Lupine Leaves
After texturing the clay, I formed it into the cylinder shape and added the bottom. Once bone dry, I added the underglaze wash and then wiped it back to reveal the design.
Clear Glaze Fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln
Vase measurements:5 inches tall by 3 inches at the base and 1.5 at the opening.
Tiny vases make a terrific gift! They don’t take up much space and you can add found flowers.
